I pouted again, looking directly at Clark "But you're eating that, that's got egg in it" Emmie noticed, pointing at the whisk.

Clark
"Yes and you shouldn't do that. See, Markus, I'm teaching your child the most valuable lessons she'll ever learn in life. You should be bowing to me. Queen Callahaway." I mused as I finished off the mixture and dug around the kitchen to find a muffin/cupcake pan.

Markus
"Hey, I tried my hardest. I always believed first-hand learning was best. Salmonella hasn't popped up yet." I said, "I have a mean dad." "You don't" "I do" I took the couple steps to her side and bundled her upside under my arm. "Children aren't as well behaved as the used to be" I commented as Emmie wriggled and laughed/squealed.

Clark
"Oh God", I rolled my eyes at the two. "Why am I making these myself? Why is nobody helping me? Markus, where's the muffin pan, do you even have a muffin pan or do I have to fetch my own?" I like how I'm the only thing that's working in the flat and I don't even live here.

Markus
"Uh. I might do." Not dropping the child, I walked over to a random cupboard and pulled the muffin tray out. "There ya go" I passed it to her, before placing Emmie down. She is getting heavy.

Clark
"Oh, good. I would've made you go, you know", I quickly played around with the mixture and soon the whole thing was in the oven. "Back at my place I have decorations and stuff, but this takes a while, so I'll go get it when necessary."

Markus
"So while they're in the oven, what do we do?" I asked, as Emmie straightened herself out.

Clark
"Talk, listen, dance. If you wish I could call my folks who are in town and we could throw a party of sorts", I suggested. See, there's a great idea.

Markus
"Do whatcha want, as long as it doesn't burn the house down." I noticed, sitting back on the worktop, since she never actually needed it.

Clark
I smacked his knee. "Off. It's not polite to sit on counters." And once he gave me full autonomy, I squeaked and bent down to face Emily. "A party it is! Which one of my siblings would you like to meet?"

Markus
"My counter" I grumbled, getting off again. "All of them!" Emmie replied in an over excited tone. I knew she wants a sibling, unforunately for her, I had no real way of getting her a sibling, unless I adopted again but then she'll put two and two together. Something I never want her to do.

Clark
"My cupcakes", I replied. "Oh, I'm not sure if all of them are around, but I can certainly try." I grinned at Emily and then looked at Markus. "You know what this means, right? You have to cook a proper dinner. The number of siblings I have, three, the number which may come, four, because one brother has a wife which he takes everywhere, a sister is free as a bird and my other brother has a boyfriend which I smacked in the head with a pan, so he's not coming."

Markus
"A proper dinner? Ha, I can hardly do that for two of us. So pasta it shall be" I declared, as Emmie jumped up and down in a giddy kind of way. No doubt she will sleep tonight.

Clark
"I swear to God Jamie Oliver hasn't done any good for this country when there are people like you", I rolled my eyes and fished out my phone from my jeans. I texted Pat, Josie and Wes to come to my flat in an hour or so.

Markus
"You are just mean. That man, who ever he is, has done nothing for this country. If he had I would know who he is" I replied, "He is the man who banned crisps at school" Emily said, stopping her 'celebration' dance to look at Clark. "How do you know?" "The telly mentioned him"

Clark
"Then you're getting none of these cupcakes because they're his recipe", I told them. "Josie can't come, she's at a shooting, Pat is in Scotland, apparently", because he casually goes places like that. I don't really understand him, "so only Wes and his wife are coming."

Markus
"You said it was your recipe. You're confusing" I complained, "Why don't you have a wife, Dad? Does Clark have a wife?" Emily asked as I ferreted about in a cupboard looking for some stuff to make the pasta with.

Clark
"There's a neat little trick called 'adding an extra tea spoon of sugar and then calling the recipe yours', it works, trust me, I use it all the time." I swear to God that children are the most precious creatures in the world. "I don't know for him, but I don't have a wife because I'm looking for a husband."

Markus
"Wives are too much work. You have to make them your girlfriend first and look how well that is going for me with Clark" I commented, my head in one of the cupboards, grabbing the biggest pan. "Who will your husband be?" Emmie asked, staring up at Clark.

Clark
"Sebastian Stan. I already made my decision. He's the one I'm marrying." I told her. I got confused a bit there. I was on my way of becoming his girlfriend? How did that happen? I thought we were friends. Maybe that dress was too much... But I'm not complaining.

Markus
"So have you asked him yet?" Emily asked, while I started cooking. "Will I get to meet him?" She added, seemingly even more excited than before. I shouldn't feed that child sugar, ever.

Clark
"If you meet him, tell him that I want to marry him, because I don't think he knows yet", I smiled at Emily. What a sweetheart. And here you go, the reason I want children.

Markus
"Okay. Daaad" She instantly turned towards me, "What" "Can we go find this Sebastian person for Clark?" "No" "Why?" "Because we can't" "Awh" She looked back at Clark "Dad won't let us go look for him for you"

Clark
"I'm joking, sweetie. Sebastian Stan is an actor in superhero movies my brothers like to watch and my sister and I swore to marry that guy one time." Reminder. Not joke too far with Emily.

Markus
"Oh. But you still want him to be your husband?" Emily asked, all her attention returned to staring at Clark.
