Breath hitched in my throat. It couldn't be. I was finally losing my mind. It was his voice, his deep baritone which talked to me, and it was impossible."Sherlock?" This has to be a dream of sorts, it can't be real, he can't be real. I dropped the coat and quickened my pace to the living room. And there he was. My defence dropped in shape of my arms dangling uselessly beside me, my knees turning into water. I regained myself fast enough to gape at the dark, tall stranger, who couldn't be Sherlock."That's it, then. You can call the ambulance because I've lost my mind." In contrary of my words, I hopped his way, dragging him into a hug (and checking if he was a hollogram).

Sherlock grinned and messed up slightly. He thought John was going for a kiss, he wasn't sure why he thought that, but he did. He went to kiss him, on the lips, but John's head moved away, so the kiss landed on his cheek.

That confused me. His lips on my cheek? Must've been an accident. I pulled away, holding his arms just below his shoulders."Are you real? How are you here?" I was looking at him through a curtain of tears, blurring my view. They threatened to spill, but I held them back.

Sherlock smirked at him, "I walked through that door there, walked a few steps then arrived on this spot" He replied, looking down at him. Sherlock was very glad for the fuzzy feeling he was getting from being able to talk to John again.

John
"You're--You're alive--I can't believe it!" I started yelling at him."You were alive and didn't tel, me? Why? Are you MENTAL?" I was furious. And not in the control of my body. I pushed him into the armchair I used to sit so I can sell at him properly."How?? And why? You jumped of a bleeding rooftop, you idiot!"

Okay this has took a turn for the worse. "John, I know you're angry, but I had a very valid reason" Sherlock said, looking up towards him, "I needed to do some research, of sorts." He added, steepling his hands like before.

John
"Research?? On me, I guess? You sodding arsehole, I can't believe it..." I paced around the chair, up and down."Okay, I'll bite. Research of what kind?"

"I was research how people reacted after someone they know commits suicide" Sherlock replied clalmly, closing his eyes and listening to John's pacing up and down.

John
"Are youout of your freaking mind? Why would you do such a thing, were you spying on me this whole time, you--" I couldn't hold myself back, so I leapt forward, in a attempt to strangle him, but of course I couldn't do that, so we just ended in an awkward position, my hand on his throat pressing his head backwards, our noses nearly touching. Then I realized something. That, before, when he kissed my cheek was an attempt to a real kiss, oh my God..."Sherlock." My vpice sounded like a choke.

Sherlock's chest heaved up and down heavily, mostly to do with the closeness. He took a deep breath, then began studying his face closely, mostly his eyes. "John.."

John
"Sherlock--"I tried again. I removed my hand from his throat to show him a ring on my finger. Married or not, there was no doubt that I wanted to kiss him, and judging by his heavy breathing, he wanted the same, and I wanted to feel his lips on mime, wanted to make him moan-- Wait! What was this? I wasn't gay! I'm not gay, amd I'm sure as hell not going to be now. I was so confused.

Sherlock's eyes widened, how did he not see this? It's as plain as day. Sherlock mentally cursed himself, "M-married?" He stuttered slightly, then coughed, "You got married?"

John
"Her name is Mary." I felt like there was something I should prove to him, which was ridiculous, we weren't together, we never were, yet his presence did unspeakable things to my body. I pushed myself away from here before I did something I would regret.

Sherlock took a deep breath, slightly relived, slightly disappointed, that John had moved away. "Mary?" He repeated, "How and when did you meet her?"

John
"She wrote a book and needed an editor." If there was nothing going on between us, why did I feel like I was cheatjng on him? This was ridiculous.

Sherlock nodded, he should not feel like this, feel as jealous. "Right, that is... Nice" He said, knowing that that is how they sort of met. He edited Sherlock's book. He moved his hands and placed them on the arms of the chair, deciding not to look at John.

John
How did we get here from strangling, how does that work?"You have to explain why did you do this, why did you jump off a bloody building. And explain it completely."

"I have already told you the reason. I needed to do research" Sherlock said, slightly annoyed that John made him repeat himself. "Tall buildings are a more efficient way of killing oneself without killing oneself!

John
"Research for what? And why on me?" Will he answer my question properly?

"For my book" Sherlock answered one of the questions. He knew the answer for the other, but wasn't sure how well John would take it. He is married now after all.

(Dad left the tablet yes bitcheees)

"Your book is on my table, finished and ready to be published, it can't be for that. Why on me?" Why was he so secretive? Why did he leave me?

"A different book" Sherlock replied, clasping his hands together. Married. How did he not see this? Why didn't Sherlock learn about this from his research? Most of all, why hadn't Mycroft told him?

"You made me believe you were dead. For so long... Sherlock, you hurt me." Here we go. My jaw shivered, making my voice unstable. I wasn't going to cry for that daft git.

Sherlock sighed, and looked up to meet his gaze. "I am sorry, John" He never meant to hurt him, he didn't want to have dragged it out this long... But had to.

John
"I-" I gulped heavily, but my phone rang, saving me from further embarassment."Hello? Yes, I'm there... could you, please? Just don't freak out. Love you. Bye."Mary. She always had the proper timing."That was Mary... She-She's coming here."
