"Mm, in some people's opinion, yes" Sherlock said.

"You're a confusing man, Holmes", John said.

"No, the world just isn't intelligent enough to understand me" Sherlock said.

"I believe you just called me dumb", John said.

"Don't worry, everyone is" Sherlock shrugged.

"Should I be offended? Do you consider yourself a human surrounded by chimpanzees?" John asked.

"Don't be, and yes though chimpanzees may be a compliment. My brother says for him it is more goldfish"Sherlock replied.

"Yes, say that to my doctorate", John huffed angrily.

"Doctorate? What in?" Sherlock asked, slightly surprised.

"Literature, what did you think, rocket science?" John asked."You have to major in some kind of a language to become an editor."

"Oh yes" Sherlock said, "Yet you're editting terrible magazines"

"Pays the bills. Am I still a goldfish then?" John asked.

"More of a Koi" Sherlock replied.

"Kois are dumb, Harry had one and she kept hitting the aquarium walls", John said.

Sherlock thought for a second, "Whale, no, dolphin"

"Thank you for calling me a whale", John laughed quietly.

"You're not big enough to be a whale" Sherlock glanced at him, "Technically a dolphin is taller than you too"

"Do you even hear yoursrlf when you talk?" John asked.

"Yes, I have ears. The average dolphin is about 6ft, and you are 5ft6" so a dolphin is six inches taller than you" Sherlock explained.

"But can the dolphin read?" John asked, not a fan of Sherlock's comparison.

"One dolphin did start mimicking human speech, but none can read." Sherlock said.

"See? Therefore, I'm not a dolphin", John stated.

"Obviously you are not a dolphin, a dolphin wouldn't wear that jumoer" Sherlock noticed.

"Would you stop about my jumoer? It was a gift!" John exclaimed.
