"I don't know anymore than you. And it is so messed up. I just wish I could go somewhere else. Or at least be able to live a normal life" Arthur sighed.

"That sort of sucks", Billie noticed washing out the cup, drying it with a kitchen towel and putting it back to its place."So you lived in The City", she asked, meaning Seattle.

Arthur shook his head "I'm from Ireland, I used to live in Belfast. My sister and I were here on holiday" He said.

"Oh. So that's something y'all call an accent. Mkay. Mentally noted", Billie said leaning against the island, bolting herself upwards with her hand."Everything sounds so weird. Luckily, as mentioned before, I'm adjustable."

"Good, because though I can do a lot as a spirit; accent charging isn't part of it" Arthur said, now properly tuning into how his voice sounded compared to hers.

"Accents are beggining to interest me", Billie said studying the way he spoke. Her parents taught her how to speak through mouth positions. When something was wrong they corrected her posture. But most of the time she either texted or scribbled notes on paper. It was weird, speaking and not hearing it and it hurt a little when people smirked at the wrongly pronounciated words.

"The Irish accent isn't the best. Try French or German" Arthur suggested, shrugging.

"Never heard 'em. Sounds interesting though. France looks like a pretty country, and Germans seem like friendly people", Billie noticed.

Arthur nodded, "I would of loved to have gone to either of the countries" He said.

Billie looked at him for a few seconds."Why didn't you?"

"I can't. Can't leave this state. I would have years ago if I could have" Arthur shrugged.

"Sorry for being nosy, but how did you die?"Billie asked.

"I would expect no different, I mean you don't meet spirits often." Arthur said, reluctant to tell her about the crash. He always blamed himself about it, he should of seen the truck on the wrong side of the road. He should of drove a different way. He should of gone to a better restaurant. He should of left the restaurant when Jenna had wanted. There was so much he could have done, should have done. But he had done none.

"True, true", Billie shrugged and glanced at the clock. She wasn't late, but she will be if she doesn't start preparing soon.

Arthur looked down at his hands, still thinking about the crash.

"As much as I'd like to stay here with you and chat, I have work", Billie said glancing at her clothes again."Wait here", she said walking into her bedroom, getting dressed into the usual (polyvore thing) and walking out

"You enjoy work, what is your work?" Arthur asked, when she returned.

"Web design. Someties I design the local newspapers. It's a good life", Billie shrugged sitting down on the sofa fiddling with her makeup bag.

"Really? So are you good at art, like drawing and stuff?" Arthur asked.

Billie snorted."Drawing? Suck at it. I'm good with html though", she said carefully putting on dark eye makeup. "You guys wil never know how hard it is to be female. "

"You alive people never know how hard it is being dead" Arthur replied, with a small smile. "Never really used html, confuses me too much"

"Don't say that", Billie frowned."It's rather simple, but it deends on the server and the platform and... Okay I'll shut u. Not interesting", she blushed.

"No, please, continue. It is interesting" Arthur assured her.

"Nah, it really isn't. Man, I hate to leave you here alone", Billie said nibbling on the tip of her hair. She had already put all her makeup away.

"Hey I could probably follow you and no one would notice. But that is a very weird and creepy thing to do" Arthur noticed.
