"Okay, okay, whoa. Excuse me for saying, but that is extra cool", Billie said getting up.

"Really. Okay. Watching your only family member die, then not being able to join them in heaven for some fucked up reason is 'cool'" Arthur grumbled.

Billie nibbled on the blue (for now) tip of her hair, something she did when she was nervous ir embarrassed."Gosh, I am sorry, but... You have to understand that this is wierd."

Arthur exhaled slowly and nodded "Yes. I s'pose it is" He agreed, "And thanks for not having screamed and ran off"

Billie nodded her head to the side shrugging lightly."I'm flexible." She looked down at her pjs; shorts and a t-shiry with an anchor on it."Well, it's something."

Arthur raised an eyebrow slightly, scanning her quickly. "Good" He said.

"Next time I'll make sure I'm wearing something more revealing", Billie winked at him."Do ghosts eat? Wait, I don't like this word. Spirits works better."

"Please, don't" Arthur mumbled. "Or phantom, phantom is so much cooler sounding. And no, we don't. Sadly"

Billie full-smiled, a sincere, happy, childish smile."Trust me, I won't. Even this is embarrassing." She started walking to the door."Shame. I make a mean snoothie."

"Ah smoothies, I can't remember the last time I had one" Arthur noticed.

"Poor baby", Billie said sadly, opening the door with her heel. The sadness in her eyes was true; Billie never faked emotions. Everyone deserved the truth."So what are you doing here, in my house?"Back to the same question.

Arthur followed behind her, walking almost like a normal human. He shrugged slightly "I don't really know. I guess its the same reason as before. It looked pretty"

"So you just decide where to go?"Billie asked heading to the kitchen. Since it was a small canadian-style house, she didn't have a lot of room, but living with neighbours just beneath you worked. The house had two floors; the bottom and the top one. She resided in the top one, but it was like she was alone.

"Not really. I cannot leave more than a particular radiance from where I died" Arthur said, shrugging.

"Okay", Billie said putting some milk into the blender."And how exactly do you exist in this form? I mean, aren't ghosts- spirits. Spirits sound ten times cooler- translucent and floating around?"

(Radius, not radiance ugh autocorrect)

"I won't take offence to that" Arthur mumbled. "A lot of us are like that. It depends on how we show ourselves, I prefer looking more human"

"I bet y'all scare people for fun", Billie smiled lightly putting some more fruit into the blender, pouring into a starbucks-styled mug and finally, popping a straw in the mix.

"Not really, most people can't see us. In fact, you're the first person who can both see and hear me" Arthur noticed.

"I feel special", Billie said slumping onto the bar chair next to the kitchen island, since the house was too small for a dining room

"Eh, depends how you look at it" Arthur shrugged, pausing for a second before leaning carefully against the wall.

"You look like the wall is going to stab you with a trident", Billie noticed slurping on her smoothie. Always the visual type.

"If I'm not careful I'll just fall straight through it" Arthur shrugged, glancing at the wall again before looking back at her.

"It's just with walls or with all things?"Billie said licking the corner of her lips since some of the smoothie ended up there.

"Everything, annoyingly. To pick something up I have to just focus on not letting my hand go through it."Arthur said, shrugging again.

"It's still cool", Billie said tapping her finger on the cup and enjoying the sounds surrounding her. "The only thing I don't understand is why you aren't Somewhere. Like, Heaven, reincarnation, whatever."
