Not as far as I can remember.

My name is Veronica Accendare Bellum Cado Caelum. Daughter of the
Great Gabriel, creation of Lord. My name is a mouthful, as the today's
people would say, so for friends, I'm Ronnie. Born while still there was
Heaven, many, many years ago. My name is ages, centuries, eons old.
Latin. Even Veronica, though it's less traditional. Veronica means, and
that's very ironical, true, honest image. Nothing is honest anymore. I'd
know. Accendare, meaning to burn, is more like it. Burn or kindle. I like
both meanings. Bellum is war, another less positive one but I prefer it
to Veronica, because that one's too positive and too happy and not
real. Cado means granted, and it's the least meaningful of my names.
Caelum is, literally, heaven. Which I think is ridiculous. Is my surname
to give out where I'm from? Maybe Heaven was my home. Was. I wish
to not discuss that subject any more. Not anymore. I am- wait, I was.
That, too, is not anymore. I was an angel.

I guess I look like everyone else. What, you've never seen an angel
before? I'm a rather extraordinary sight for you, then. Humans are
flawed; angels - ex-angels - aren't. You know how you humans can
change your body weight? From curvy to skinny? I can't. I'm always
this; a regular heightened anorexic, that's what they call slim people
today, right? It's because I don't eat. I can't. It makes me sick. I
drink water, any kind, from sea to rain. We were created perfect;
we stay perfect, forever. My hair is hip length, blonde. I often style
it into an angel plait, mainly because it looks beautiful and complex,
when it isn't. At least, not for me. One might describe my built as
frail; I wouldn't recommend doing that. I can break your neck with
two fingers. Angel muscles occupy less space than human's, so we
like to call it a compressed body form. I look like I'm in my 20s; when, really,
I'm eons, eons old. I've been here for the good, supervising the Earth.
I've been here for the bad. I've stood by the worst assassins and the
kindest young, innocent nuns. I honestly never saw a difference. I
was created to be the Angel Guardian. Not really my area. I was too
independent. So they crashed me. But I've wandered away from the
subject, haven't I? Okay, back to how I look. My eyes are clockwork
and green. I'll explain that later. I also have runes all over my skin,
as most angels do. What are runes? Ancient Nordic, Slavic, Germanic
lettering which protect my body, enhance my senses and sharpen
my mind. Angels aren't smart and all-knowing. That's Daddy you're
talking about. Angels, perfect on the outside, are forgettable and
overlooking creatures. Dad couldn't have made us perfect. Remember
Lucifer? He was our first angel. More on that later. I also have cross
marks, which you could call tattoos, but they're not that. They're
a reminder that, even though we're fallen, he's still watching over us.

I am, at the moment, in Britain, London. There's a huge hole in
the fabric of life there, dimensions have been skewed, and guess
who arrived? Children of night. Leeches. Daughters and sons of
darkness. All of them. I have a same outfit all the time, the one
in which I killed many, one which still has blood splattered inside
of it, but it's hidden from the views. To start explaining what's on
that photo, shall we? Let's go from the top and go down. First
is the devil's trap, a 'tattoo' across my whole back. Then, my
weapon assembly. A vampire stake, gun for the wolves and a
taser for both. Demons are only chased away by the devil's trap.
I have rune earrings, a luxury I can afford. A ring you see next
to the earrings isn't a ring at all. It's a merpeople decapitator.
Just a cut on the neck and it's all done. Back up is my cross
'tattoo', one of many. I've hidden the runes for that picture.
My outfit consists of a white dress and a black coat over that.
It's very useful, since I can hide wings, and they don't suspect
anything. I wear ballet flats. My wings used to be as white as
they are on that photo. Hundreds of centuries ago. The necklace
is a 'gift' from one demon. In it, the red marble, there is angel
and demon blood mixed, the most powerful weapon there is.
Down there, displayed, is an angel plait and my clockwork eyes.
Why are they like that, I never found out. Every angel has them.
Whether they're green, orange, blue or purple. I have the most
common kind, but green are Guardians. And I'm the only fallen Guardian.

In the Bible, it says that the first humans, Adam and Eve, were
created on God's image. Buzzer. Wrong. First angels were God's
creations, more tests, and they were eternal, all-knowing, almighty.
Like Dad. There are two first angels. One which I mentioned before,
Lucifer, and the Holy Spirit, which was, before the words Holy and
Spirit even existed, called Pius. Here's Latin again. It's the most
holy language of them all. So, before there were humans, there were
angels. Before there were humans, Dad had little mental breakdowns
every now and then. Remember the fights with Greek and Roman divine.
Remember dinosaurs. Then we deleted it all. Piece by piece, bone
by bone. From ashes to ashes; from dust to dust. We created humans
then. We, angels, not Dad. He created the world around them. They
were like our little pets. Or so they were supposed to be. We didn't
get to see them in their little cage called Earth. We got trapped in
the cage. Some of us, at least. Why? We, fallen, wanted more. What's
the use of having a human to wander around helplessly? None. We
created him a female. ((Short reminder; before the Fall, angels didn't
have genders.)) A female, just a tad different than the male, but then
they had a chance to populate the Earth, like dinosaurs and fish before
them. We were banished from Heaven for wanting our human to have
company. During the Fall, which lasted for seven days and seven nights,
we got genders. We got eyes, ears, noses, mouths. Before that, we
were spirits. After that, we had indestructible bodies. That, too, was a
kind of punishment. We were forced to live forever, forced to hide our
faces so we wouldn't get noticed. There are a few who failed. There are
even fewer who succeeded. I am one of merely a hundred survivals.
There are still more than a million left in Heaven, holding the Earth away
from it's sure doom. Dad? Or to say, God? No. After the plague, after
Hitler, he wasn't the same. Do you think he stays in Heaven because he
lives in fear of what he created? You are correct. He fears humans. I
fear humans. Life isn't the same without limits and with freedom.

Basics
My name is Kerberos Masters, though rarely do I introduce myself as that. Draws too much attention to me, which yes, I do like, isn't the best thing for me to be receiving at the moment. I make most call me Ross or Kerbie, which of course shortened versions of my name. Some people will recognise my surname, from my sister; Meg Masters. She was killed, by an angel, and that bitch killed her not too long ago. And I am going to do everything in my power to hunt down and kill that whore, even if it's the last thing I ever do.
There are a lot of things I don't believe people should know about me. One of those things is age. Any mortal will just think I am crazy, when I tell them the truth, when I know for a fact I am not crazy. They are just retards that are too stupid to understand anything about the complexity of us 'demons'. Now, age is tricky to explain, which is why you shouldn't care, I know I don't. I took the body of a twenty-six year old man, so that's how old most believe me to be. As a joke, I made my birthday (Something you mortals think is is important, but hun, when you've had as many as me they get more boring than bath day.) the 31st October. What is another basic thing you seem to think you 'must' know? Oh, yes. People ask me about my gender, and technically, I am genderless, but I do like to think that I am male. I do have the body of a man, so that makes me male right? However, being genderless, I can't say whether I am straight or gay, Then again, I'm not particularly attracted to anyone. I find 'love' a ridiculous thing, unnatural, not needed. Mortals talk about it as if it is an amazing thing. I just find it something that should be avoided at all costs, it doesn't bring any good into the world.

Looks
As I have already explained, I took the body of a twenty-six year old man. He had brown/blonde hair, which I have to admit is very soft. It is usually spiked up towards the front. Now, my eyes are black as night, and some say, with the appearance of having an absence of light. My eyes are the main give away for being a demon when I'm in the mortal world, so to disguise them I use the hazel colour that this man has. Quite a nice colour actually, but I think the black represents me better. Plus, the black represents my place in the hierarchy of demons. Having black eyes makes me a soldier or a thug, depends on your point of view. We demons very rarely have bodies of our own, I know I don't. Most of us appear as black smoke in what is known as the 'incorporeal form', it's useful being smoke, easy to travel around, but there is the probably of we leave sulphur traces. The black is very similar to the black of my eyes, light not being able to reflect off it, a feture I like very much. We walk around the mortal world by possessing bodies, both alive and dead. The body I currently possess was alive, but he was on the verge of death, so in a way I saved him. x I like the clothing style that this mortal had, so I decided to keep it, very punk 70s. He even had a motorbike, which since I am him, is now mine. A MV Agusta F4CC, very expensive but damn is a bike like this worth that amount of money, though I wouldn't buy it myself, I see no point in buying when you can just take. It is much less effort. Now, you may of heard we demons have wings, and I can confirm this is true. Most of the time these are hidden, I don't want hunters coming after me, I need to keep my profile low while I am looking for my sister's killers, but damn is it great to go for a flight after and long day.

More
I, obviously, live in a house. I had to buy this place, where did you get the money? I hear you ask, because of course, I have never worked a Goddamn day of my life. I don't need to when I can make people work for me. So much simpler plus this place is mint, I mean why settle for gold when you can have platinum? I haven't always lived on earth, but, where I was born is hard to say, how I became a demon is slightly easier. My father rebelled against God, and I guess you could say 'like father, like son'. My rebellion against God was only when I was so young, so I don't remember life before I became a demon. Started young, I did, but hey, I enjoy this life, no one saying do this, no one saying be there, no one saying stop that, no one saying see here. And if they do, well, let's say their life might be a lot different. One last thing, don't bother asking why I became a demon, as I won't tell you nor will you get a straight answer.

I had to find a place to stay, but to be frank with you, I didn't feel safe on the street at nihht. Or on Earth. Especially not here, in London, where those bloodsucking zombies could attack. I got out my vampire stake, just in case. Soon, I promised myself, I would wash soon, I had to clean my clothes and myself, I had blood splattered all over it. One would think that vampires do not bleed. But one should know better. I hid my runes, of course, the last thing I needed was for some narks to find me and think I am one of them. Unfortunately, my cross tattoos on my lower arms stayed. I reached a streetlight and revealed myself on the light. Reassuring, if you may.

I threw a stone into the air and caught it again in my left hand. I knew if I threw this stone I could probably hit the light not so far in front of me. But no matter how ugly the bright orange light was, penetrating the darkness that night had given us, I wouldn't break it. First, I didn't want to be arrested again, the police are already quite mad at me, second, there was someone walking past it. I would break the glass and it would hit them. Again, this is simply because they would call the police and get me in trouble. I dropped the stone and started kicking it along the path as if it was a football, quite frankly bored but almost desperate to finish this search for the angel that killed my sister. This search had been going on way too long and had lost a large amount of appeal that had came with it at the start. I just wanted to get it over with so I am able to continue doing whatever it was I did before this hunt.

I sat down and stretched my neck. My legs pressed underneath me, my back was completely open, and what I wouldn't give to be able to let my wings out, but no. People around. When I thought that, I noticed a human, well, humanoid, shape not far away from me. Of course, for me far was 100 km, but that is irrelevant. I tightened my hand around the silver stake in my jacket in case it was one of those vampires I had been hunting for months now. But if it was human, I did not want to be caught with 3 kilos of pure silver shaped in a sharp stick, so sharp it would penetrate the neck or torso of anyone around. Except fairies. They are and exception."Who is it?" I called, quietly, as if I was timid. If it was a supernatural being, I would probably be recognized as one of theirs, but due to hidden runes, they would not identify me as an amgel.

I turned heel to look at her and smiled too sweetly at her, I scanned her up and down and grinned even wider, "Why, my name is Ross, how about you, my dear?" I asked, well this was a rare sight. Very rare indeed. Hey, maybe she is the one. Not the one one, romantic one, no. That is the sort of bullshit mortals believe. No, the one as in the one who killed my sister.

If he got any closer he would be in the light and I could tell what he is. Then I would choose a proper weapon. For now, my stake was the closest one. I might look fragile or, something, but I was tense, trying to keep my breathing in control. I didn't need this, not now.

I didn't know whether that was enough to scare him or not, so I got up and shrugged my jacket off my shoulders, finally letting my wings free, but not to their full size. Full size was reserved for those I was sure I could kill. For now, let him think I was some lower class of angel.

I stepped into the light properly, with a small nod of satisfaction. "Nice, but a bit too, hm how should I put it? Angelic, for me" I grinned shrugging off my jacket, "Ah, look yours are bigger! That really puts a guy in an embarrassing situation when a girl's are bigger" I winked slightly at her. I kept my eyes the hazel brown of the body, knowing it would be a bad idea to show her the blackness, considering black isn't particularly a high ranking colour.

Angels usually have bigger wings, or at least they appear so. You know, wings and bones.

I didn't mind the fact I was talking to an angel and that she could probably kill me in seconds. It's like dogs, isn't it? They can easily kill you, but still don't. Plus, this is the most worthwhile thing to talk to on a night like tonight. Mortals are just boring to talk to.

"Humans are doing well enough themselves to cause World War 3, I don't think they need us to start it for them" I noticed, knowing my grin had dropped.

As soon as the stake was away from my neck, the grin flashed back up onto my face. "Well, Veronica, it is a great thing to know" I teased, shrugging my jacket back on to my shoulders, as leather jackets always look cool and gave me somewhere to place my hands so they weren't hanging awkwardly at my side.

But I much prefer Ross" I said, Kerberos, like the three headed dog Cerberus, just an older version of the word. Veronica was definitely a first, I hadn't met an angel with that name before, but hey, I haven't met many angels, and quite frankly, I didn't want to. I just wanted to kill the one that killed my sister then never communicate with another God-loving, Demon-slaying bitch again.

Quite frankly, I didn't want this shit right now, more than two minutes in an angel's presence was enough for me to want to strangle them to death, which of course properly wouldn't work.

The black jacket was incredibly heavy, because of five silver stakes, three tazers and two guns. One can never be too sure.
