"Right okay" I said, with a small nod. curious about it but not wanting to invade her privacy at all.

"I might tell you the story, if you insist", I joked on her silence with a slight smirk.

Faye-Arabella
I stuck my tongue out at her, "What is the story?" I asked, shifting into a comfier position.

Brit
"Well, I was with my ex, you know how it goes. I mean, the whole process of baby making", I wasn't sure was she Christian or Muslim or Jewish or generally homophobic, so I kept the gender of my ex a secret." And for the occasion, I wore a lace bra." TMI? Maybe, but the story is too amusing not to tell."Turns out, the bra broke and the wires came out and we noticed just after. I have a line that goes from here", I pointed a spot on my centre upper stomach, "to here", I traced the scar to the end of my ribcage on the right."And I laughed so much I can't even begin to describe. I had a bra wire in my body and I didn't notice." The power of a kiss keeps on blowing me away.

"But surely that would have been really painful? I mean those wires can be really sharp." I noticed, visibly wincing, but laughing slightly either way.

"The true power of a really good hook up. Can you imagine how awkward was it to show up at the A&E? They asked me to explain how it happened. Alex laughed at me for days." Lucky for me, Alex is unisex.

Faye-Arabella
"You should of said you go into a battle with a dragon, you fought a noble battle and won, saving the lives of thousands. But the cost of winning was a scar across your stomach" I said.

"Or I got laid", I snickered quietly."Have you got any embarrassing secrets?"

Faye-Arabella
I shook my head, "Not really, I'm not one for getting out much." I replied.

Brit
"Well, we didn't do it outside", I felt so smirky around Faye, why was that? "C'mon, I opened up to you. It's your turn."

Faye-Arabella
Should I tell her? Yeah why not? Worse she could do is throw me out the car, but the walk from here to home isn't far. "I have my fair share of older siblings, since I am the youngest and there are four of us in all. And a few years ago I was walking in a shopping centre with my only sister, Kayleigh, and we decided to stop for a coffee. We went into a Starbucks, and once we had our coffee we found a table. It was very busy, so we had to sit on the high chairs, next to these huge guys. Kay and I were talking when these guys started flirting with Kay- since she is one of the prettiest people I know and she is high on my pretty list" She dropped a ranking because of you "The younger of the rhree guys looked very unimpressed with his friend's flirting, so started chatting to me. It got to the point I refused his request to dinner, when he asked why, I replied with 'You may be "hot" and all, but you're lacking too much hips and boobs. My sister heard this squeaked very loudly, which surprised me enough to cause me to fall off my chair. The chair and coffee fell on top of me, and without helping me up, my sister started screaming 'You're gay?! Damn, you made me lose my money! Frank bet me a few quid you would turn out gay.' The whole cafe turned towards me sprawled on the floor, with a chair on top of me and coffee everywhere." I replied, not as interesting as her story, but embarrassing overall.

"D'aw", I made a sympathetic noise."In Starbucks? And Starbucks is known for straight white girls, shame on you", I laughed. That's why I don't go to Starbucks, I'm neither."That story deserves another embarrassing confession from my side", I said. Should I tell her? She was cute, and I liked her and I liked talking to her and... no."My real name isn't Brit." Surprise surprise. I chickened out.

Well she took it better than I thought she would. "Yeah; I know" I shivered slightly, then I placed my hand over my heart, "You lied to me, I am very offended" I tried my best to look offended but I can't act.

Brit
"Oh, shh", I giggled at her gesture. She was adorable, who was I kidding."I give you one guess to guess my real name", I said, trying to be secretive.

Faye-Arabella
"Is it similar to Brit? Because if it is, is it Brittany?" I asked, smiling at her.

Brit
"Close. Think hippie and parents that hate me. Oh, let's be honest, you'll never guess. It's Brittanica", I told her with a small smirk.

Faye-Arabella
"I like it, it's sweet" I noticed, I did like it. It has a lovely ring to it.

Brit
"Yours' is better, Faye makes me think of faeries and nymphs", this was an indirect compliment. Come on, even if this girl was cute and gay (how often do you ran into this combination), I'd have no chance with her. She's way out of my league. She looks like she's in it to win it, not like she might get a lot of meaningless conversations where the sex is good and then you fight the next day, like me.

"I love those kinds of things, especially in fairy-tales and fables" I replied, not completely agreeing on her comment of my name being better, but I find it rude to say some's opinion is wrong.

Brit
"No, I don't really know these things", I snickered,"but I read them to my cousins, they like it and I get to see them sat down and quiet."

Faye-Arabella
"Ah I am going to make you read all the best ones, even if some of Aesop's Fables are a bit weird." I think this is a good enough excuse to try and spend more time with her.

Brit
"Then tell me one of his stories while we're driving. I think you have a knack for telling stories", especially after she told me the Starbucks one. Maybe I'll get more details on her without having to ask, ergo without being weird.

Faye-Arabella
"Okay, so since this is a fable, it has a moral. I give you the challenge to guess what the moral is" I said, before quickly choosing a fable to say, "The Owl always takes her sleep during the day. Then after sundown, when the rosy light fades from the sky and the shadows rise slowly through the wood, out she comes ruffling and blinking from the old hollow tree. Now her weird "hoo-hoo-hoo-oo-oo" echoes through the quiet wood, and she begins her hunt for the bugs and beetles, frogs and mice she likes so well to eat.
Now there was a certain old Owl who had become very cross and hard to please as she grew older, especially if anything disturbed her daily slumbers. One warm summer afternoon as she dozed away in her den in the old oak tree, a Grasshopper nearby began a joyous but very raspy song. Out popped the old Owl's head from the opening in the tree that served her both for door and for window.
"Get away from here, sir," she said to the Grasshopper. "Have you no manners? You should at least respect my age and leave me to sleep in quiet!"
But the Grasshopper answered saucily that he had as much right to his place in the sun as the Owl had to her place in the old oak. Then he struck up a louder and still more rasping tune.
The wise old Owl knew quite well that it would do no good to argue with the Grasshopper, nor with anybody else for that matter. Besides, her eyes were not sharp enough by day to permit her to punish the Grasshopper as he deserved. So she laid aside all hard words and spoke very kindly to him.
"Well sir," she said, "if I must stay awake, I am going to settle right down to enjoy your delightful singing. Now that I think of it, I have some nectar which will help soothe your voice and make it even more pleasing to hear. Please come up and try this delicious nectar with me."
The foolish Grasshopper was taken in by the Owl's flattering words. Up he jumped to the Owl's den, but as soon as he was near enough so the old Owl could see him clearly, she pounced upon him and ate him up."

"I know the moral of this story!" I said through laughter I didn't even try to hold back."Don't get close to owls because you're going to get eaten." I was right, she had a very soothing, lovely voice, which I could easily imagine telling children stories. Somewhere in the middle of our conversation we reached the address she gave me.
