"I don't blame anybody", I shrugged smiling a bit.

Nix smiled back, before placing her finger over her lips to symbolise silence before walking into the house. She pointed the grand staircase and started walking towards it. "Clarissa?" Her mother's shrill Italian voice rang out. "Damn" Nix mumbled, "Hello mother" She said, looking over to the door which led to a sitting room, and seeing her mother standing in front of it. "Who's this?" She asked, studying Roxanne carefully. "This is my friend" Nix replied, before hastily adding "Mother" Her mother continued studying Roxanne, "Where did you find such a person?" She asked, obviously not pleased with Roxanne's appearance.

Roksana
I couldn't help but smirk. She could look at me any way she wishes, I like the way I look."Good day to you as well", I said, letting my Russian accent out, just for the fun of it.

Nix glanced to Roxanne before looking back at her mother, who squinted at Roxanne, as if trying to figure something out about her. "Russian" She noticed, still staring at Roxanne.

Roksana
"Correct. Roksana Orlova, nice to meet you", I said still holding a smirk, but cringing on the inside at the sound of my name. I didn't want to piss off her mother, but I did want to show her wrong.

"Mrs Aquca, pleasure to meet you too" Nix' mother replied, with a curt nod, clearly not pleased with meeting Roxanne.

Roksana
"Must be nice to be able to use a title for yourself even though it isn't dr. or prof.", I said. I couldn't help myself, it was just the way I acted to people who didn't approve of me.

"Not a good idea" Nix muttered, but it was easy to tell she was secretly enjoying this. "I do not wish to be called by my first name by people like you" Her mother replied.

Roksana
"And what exactly are people 'like me'?" I asked, noticing Nix's warning but deciding to ignore it.

Nix sighed lightly, knowing exactly what her mother was going to say. "Lower class, lesser people" Mother calmly replied. Nix sighed again, now deciding to keep her head low.

Roksana
"And why do you place me in lower class?" I raised my eyebrow placing my hands on my bare waist. I loved this shirt, it was like a frame to the lace tattoo on my lower back.

Nix' mother scanned Roxanne again, "Because of who you are, how you look and how you act" She said.

Roksana
"Yeah, okay. Lower class. But that gives you no right to make fun of my choices. If I returned home, I'd be greeted as a royalty. You know why? Because some people actually like me, and that's a tiny bit more than you could say for yourself."

Nix' mother glared at Roxanne for a minute before pushing open the door to the sitting room and leaving without a word. "She will have you killed for that" Nix noticed, staring at Roxanne.

Roksana
"That felt really good. I'm sorry", I turned to Nix with a small smirk on my face, slipping into my usual accent.

Nix smiled at her, "It was enjoyable to watch" She noticed and then ran up the rest of the steps. "I really hope you don't mind stairs, there is another few flights left" She said once she was at the top of that flight.

Roksana
"Oof, this is nothing. I climbed mountains", I told her following her.

Nix giggled lightly and led the way up into her room, and pushed open the door to reveal Kiwi laid asleep in her dog-bed.

Roksana
"I like your room", I told her.

Nix glanced at her and smiled, "Thank you, make yourself at home" She said, and settled on the edge of her bed.

"Didn't you mention that you'd like to hear the violin? I've been practising this song and need your opinion on it" Nix said, looking up at her.

"Well, my music knowledge is limited to MTV, but I'd love to hear you", I told her.
