The lazy people can't even be bothered to collect their drinks from the counter. I placed the tray in one hand, carrying it outside.

Mary dragged Isaac to the coffee shop again. Why did she want to play matchmaker all of a sudden? Ethan left Goliath out and they walked in. Mary accidentally tripped over the entrance step, falling right onto the boy carrying coffee.

I felt something knock into me, causing coffee to spill everywhere, I was just about to swear when I spotted it was a young child. His young child. I looked at her for a second, all I thought of was Maria "Are you okay?" I asked, damn motherly instincts.

Isaac glanced first at Mary (who was already up and brushing herself off) then at the guy with the coffee. This was waaay too coincedental (?¿). "I'm fine, mister. I'm sorry for the coffee", Mary said politely looking up. Politeness ran in the family.

I nodded once, "Good" I closed my eyes for a second, ridding any pictures of my little sisters. I looked at the mess, before starting to tidy it, not looking anywhere but at what I was doing.

"I'm sorry", Isaac said hugging Mary, who was starting to cry. All little kids do after shock."We'll pay for the damage."

I had to look up, it would of been rude to not do so. I shook my head lightly, "It's fine, my fault anyway" I replied, placing some of the cup pieces on the tray to make it easier to carry.

Isaac picked Mary up. "Okay. Sorry again", he said knowing he needs to bring Mary home, otherwise she'll get a cold."Come on Ethan", he called.

I nodded lightly, taking a breath before continuing to tidy up. Why does he pop up out of no where? Why do I want to stare at him everytime he does? I placed the tray on the counter then grabbed the mop to wipe up the coffee, before making some more coffees.

{idea. maybe mary makes isaac go get coffee once more {i think i have a reason} and he arrives just at the end of drew's shift so he offers to buy him coffee?}

"Isaac, we're out of coffee", his mother said walking into the living room and dropping onto the couch. She stretched her fingers. "Could you stop by the Starbucks? You could walk Goliath as well." Isaac sighed, as he had just started going through some photos on the computer, but nodded. He knew his mother wouldn't ask if she could do it herself. Those double shifts were tiring her awfully."Sure thing." Since Ethan and Mary were training baseball in the school league, they weren't here, so he couldn't bring them with him, and that made him feel lonely. But he shrugged it off, picked up the squeaky puppy and grabbed the leash. He walked towards the hanger and took off his coat from it, which contained a wallet with a fresh new paycheck in it. He exited.

The shift was almost over, ten minutes. Ten minutes until I can leave this shit-hole and go home for the day. But that ten minutes still meant I had to work and wait. So I continued serving customers in my usual manner.

I glanced at the clock, and as soon as it reached the time my shift was over, I began to take off my apron. Glad it was over.

Isaac tied Goliath outside {poor pup, he's getting used to this place} and walked in, curious if he would see that boy from earlier.

I glanced towards the door as that guy walked in, thankful I wouldn't be serving him, I continued taking off my apron and placing my items away.

Isaac spotted the boy in the exact same moment he was thinking of him. Perfect. He noticed that he was done with his shift, and yet he walked towards the counter and placed his hands under his chin like this."Hello there."

I looked towards the guy, raising an eyebrow "Hello" I replied, in a flat tone.

"So I guessed I should apologize for the stunt Mary pulled off on you earlier, and I figured, what better way to do so than with a cup of coffee?" Isaac asked, giving him the famous puppy eyes. Actually, that wasn't the reason he came, but could be the reason he stayed out a bit longer..

I continued looking at him for a second, but realising I probably had nothing better to do I nodded, "If you insist" I said, with a small sigh.

Isaac half smiled."Oh, I do. What's your coffee order?" he asked him straightening up. He wasn't much taller than the counter.

"Just the usual" I replied, still looking at him, trying to work out some stuff out about him, like why didn't he leave me alone?

"Mmm, right. Excuse me, can I get one black coffee and one 'usual'?" Isaac asked the lady who took over the boy's place. {idek godmodding but eh}
