"How does your girlfriend react to the clothes everywhere?" I asked, pausing "Wait. Now I think about it; that sounds really creepy"

"Why do you think I'm dating? And if I was, I'd-probably- be much neater", Phineas chuckled a bit.

"Surely a strapping young man like you would be dating?" I asked.

"What, are you suggesting something?" Phineas raised an eyebrow.

"What? No" I chuckled slightly, "simply curious" I added, sipping my tea again.

"Well, dating is not really my area", Phineas shrugged.

"Ah alright. Any friends? One's from school?" I inquired.

"They hated me, I hated them... I live in solitude", Phineas said playing with the edge of the table.

I frowned lightly, "I thought people liked you? If I remember correctly you were a nice guy"

"Not quite. Elementary, yes, sure, but high school..." Phineas shook his head.

"Oh. Was high school that bad? I don't remember much of it"

"High school was terrible", Phineas sighed inaudibly.

"How so?" I asked, I knew I was asking a lot about him, but I was curious.

Phineas frowned lightly."Hmm, people are mean."

"I would agree with that" I said, twirling the now empty cup.

"What about you?" Phineas asked

"I don't remember much of high school, much too boring."

Oh, Phineas remembered it. Vividly. His hand reflexly touched his bottom lip."I do, unfortunately."

I smiled a sympathetic smile, "Hopefully you'll forgot it soon"

"Hopefully. How's your personal life?" Phineas asked. She was nosy, he was too.

"Quiet, is all I can really say. Since Jacques, my brother, got married he has been so busy trying to find a place that will let him and his partner adopt" I shrugged, speaking quickly.

"My, we lead boring lifes, don't we?" Phineas asked.

Just then, Christopher Marshall walked oin the coffee shop. Tousled honey brown hair, jade eyes, tall, slender. He was an attractive man, but there was sort of an aura that repelled Phineas. Still, the guy was hot, no matter what.

I nodded slightly, "Quite" I agreed, before glancing at the door once it had opened, I had to admit, that guy was very cute.
