"Maybe,"Zach said and scratched the back of his head uncomfortably.

Ellie
I rolled my eyes at him, realising the awkwardness. I tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear.

"So um. Goodbye, I guess?" Zach asked.

Ellie
I sighed "But I don't want you to leave. Not again" I say, in a quiet tone.

"B-but I have to,"Zach said mildly surprised as he barely hid the stutter.

Ellie
"I know you do. But I wish you didn't" I say, in the same tone as before.

"And why is that?"Zach asked raising his eyebrow.

Ellie
I shrugged lightly, pausing before I spoke "It gets lonely, only being with Drew"

"Get a flat mate, someone less annoying,"Zach said folding his arms on his chest.

Ellie
"I don't like new people" I complained, looking down towards the floor.

"I don't like people,"Zach snorted. Well that was debateable.

Ellie
"Aaand yet you're a teacher" I say, looking at him through my fringe

Zach's phone rang and he answered without looking at Ellie. After a few minutes of talking Zach hang up."Okay, thanks, bye."He looked at Ellie."Not anymore."

Ellie
"Not anymore? What do you mean?" I asked, looking up at him so I could scan his face.

"Well, serms like I got a job at the NY Chemistry Centre,"Zach grinned.

Ellie
"Really?" I asked, smiling at him. "That's brilliant news" I add.

"Outstanding. But I guess I'll have to steal your apartment for a while longet,"Zach said picking uo his backpack.

Ellie
I grinned at him. "I guess there's no room for a new roommate then" I say.

"No room at all,"Zach laughed.(skip cause nothing else to say)

I dump my notebook on the table. "Aisha is going to kill me if I'm late" I complained, grabbing my house keys. "See you later" I say, walking out the door, leaving my notebook behind.

"I doubt she'll kill you."Zach muttered under his breath. As he noticed a notebook on the desk, he approached it, curious. As he opened a random page he read from it.

Ellie Notes
Chapter 1, mainly the introduction. Just introducing myself, and this book.
Chapter 2, childhood, a different part for each of the 15 houses that fostered me.
Chapter 3, teenage years, how fucked up life was, how teens can 'Get through it'
Chapter 4, young adult, first book published
Chapter 5, Adult, what is happening currently.

However if you were to turn to the last page you would see some added text. Unsure if I should add; My Roomate: Zachariah is an odd person, he can be an annoying person with his smartarse comments, picking up on every mistake I make. I guess I like that about him, I like a lot of things about him. Don't get me started on how flawless he looks when he wears his vest. His eyes are enough to make you melt, and his hair looks so fuzzy and cuddly. I like his expression when he is reading, something he does a lot. When he moved out of the apartment we were sharing, it was funny how it rained all day. The thing is I miss him, even though he's only been gone for a week. I miss the sounds of him playing his violin, in his special position, at stupid O'clock in the morning. Even writing this at three in the morning, and everyone knows you get emotional at this time, I think I'm falling for Zachariah Hewitt.

Zach shut the notebook quickly. Whoops. Shouldn't have done that. Oh dear Lord. He got up to make himself some coffee to chill down.(skip to where she comes home?)

"Hello,"Zach said not looking at her. His book wad placed on his knees and he scanned through it.
