I frowned and pushed him in again. Doesn't keep me from hoping.

Frederick
"Mean." I mumbled, standing up. "You're mean." I complained, before making a loop with my arm and tackling him over.

Cali
"Hey!" I yelped, which wasn't a good idea, because then I drank a litre of sea water. I tried to steady myself but I was coughing water out, spluttering all around.

Frederick
Quickly, I plucked him out of the water and smirked slightly, "Pay back"

Cali
I spat the rest of the water into his face."Can't... Breathe..."

Frederick
I crinkled my nose at the water he spat at me, "At least try to breath"

Cali
"It hurts... It's salty", I started coughing."See, this is why we can't have nice things."

Frederick
I pulled him into a hug, "But this is a nice thing. Warm, comfy. Nothing bad comes from cuddles" I said, patting his back slightly to try and help stop his cough.

Cali
"But we can't be homo in public." Third time's the charm. I hopped onto him, again diving us both into the sea.

Frederick
"It's not that public here" I noticed, then laughing this time as we fell in. I splashed him with a handful of water.

Cali
I maybe am a young adult, but my hormones make me feel like I'm 15."Okay then." I grabbed two handfuls of his hair and pulled him into a kiss.

Frederick
I chuckled again, a bit awkwardly this time, and wrapped my arms around him, kissing him back. "Salty"

Cali
"Oh my God, seriously? I thought this was a lake", and I pushed him away, hoping he'd fall in the water again.

Frederick
"Why do I keep ending up in the water?" I complained, pouting up at Cali from where I was now sat on the floor.

Cali
"Because you dragged me out of the house", I told him. What a geek. Why do I hang out with him?

Frederick
"You still came with me, you didn't have to" I continued complaining. Bully.

Cali
"I thought swimming was a code word", I complained. No, not really, but some action would've done quite nicely. Nothing happened between us for a month or two.

Frederick
"You could make any word into a code word. Even words like polypeptide or tertiary" I noticed.

Cali
I pouted."I thought swimming was the code word for sex. Look, it even begins with the same letter."

Frederick
I stuck my tongue out at him, is that all he cared about? "But that is the only common factor between those two words" I noticed.

Cali
"Codewords shouldn't be too alike, people might doubt", I winked at him and splashed him again.

Frederick
"But the need to relate a bit more, or at least give a hint to the recipient so they know it is a code" I replied, splashing him back.
