"It's Christmaaaas" I said, poking his nose. "You aren't allowed to sleep on Christmas, it is an unwritten rule"

Zach let go of her, but showed no intentions to get up himself.

Ellie
I sat up and glanced down at him, "C'mon Zach" I said, grabbing his hand and tugging on it.

Zach groaned as he sat up."Things I do for love."

Ellie
I grinned at him before getting out of bed and stretching, humming lightly.

"mZach got up crossing his hand."So?"

Ellie
"Present time!" I said, grinning like an excited five year old. I trotted into the living room and grabbed the large box with Zach's name on, placing it carefully on the sofa, smiling at Zach.

Zach muttered something angrily walking slowly to the living room

I continued smiling at him, "Opeeeen it" I said, dragging the vowels.

"Do I have to?" Zach asked taking the box and opening it.

Ellie
I nodded "Yes. But carefully" I said, watching him.

Zach opened the box.

In the box sat a small husky puppy, quite unhappy with the fact it had been woken up. It yawned and looked up towards Zach.

Zach looked up at Ellie with a grin."You little shit. You know the flat is too small for three animals?"he said jokingly taking the puppy out of its box.

Ellie
I grinned at him "But it already has three animals" I said, looking at the puppy who licked Zach's nose.

Zach grinned even more."My gift for you is in that box", he nodded towards the coffee table. It was a small box, about 10x10 cm.

Ellie
I smiled at him and reached for the box, sitting down before opening it.

It was a key, connected to a keychain with a messy bow.

Ellie
I looked at the key in slight confusion, before making a connection "You didn't?" I said, grinning at him.

"I didn't what?"Zach asked innocently petting the husky.

The puppy wagged its tail, and Drew, spotting this, walked over to Zach and placed his head next to Zach.

Ellie
"This is a house-key" I grinned.

"Now, are you sure about that?"Zach asked, barely hiding a smirk.

Ellie
"What else would we need a key for?" I asked, looking at him, smiling.

Zach shrugged watching the animals, now half-grinning.

I raised an eyebrow at him, before moving closer to him, moving Drew's head so I could.
