Fletcher felt the vibrations before he heard the bleep."Fuck!" he punched the door in front of him. He was locked in the bathroom, the work of all those bullies. He usually didn't mind, during the recess they'd get him out. After all, he's been in smaller spaces then the bathroom compartment. For an example, lockers. But the bleep meant something was wrong, and Fletcher couldn't get out by himself, not even if he tried. He then leaned against the wall hoping that it was a false alarm.

I plugged my head phones into my ears, I was sat in a stall in the girl's toilets as I was less likely to get disturbed while playing on Pokémon. People seemed to find it odd that I played that game. They're just jealous of the fact I beat the X and Y game within a day. Having my headphones in I didn't hear the beeping. But feeling the ground shaking, I looked up and around confused, but deciding it was nothing I returned to my game.

"Shit!" Fletcher exclaimed as he felt the ground shake. No, no, no, that wasn't good. It was quite strong and it knocked him off of his feet, but it was short, so Fletcher sighed in relief. Then the walls came timber. He had just enough time to cover his head with his hands, but it didn't help.

I began to realise the severity of the situation. So, doing as they always say on t.v., I placed myself under the chair I was originally sat on. I began to feel scared as the walls began to fall, I knew what was happening, but I didn't know what the outcome would be. I just hoped my feeble chair would help. However, brick walls against a basic plastic chair isn't particularly a hard fight to guess which would be the loser.

Fletcher couldn't feel anything, he couldn't comprehend the situation. He felt like he was floating away... and something was pulling him down, not so gently.

This was weird, I didn't like this. Every where was dusty and dark, every breath hurt my throat slightly. This reminded me of the fire too much, and I didn't like it. I heard shoutingand the sound of footsteps running over to me.

Fletcher heard someone calling his name and literal pulling, not the mental one from before."Fletcher?" the voice wasn't even shouty or screamy, it was the medic's voice. No one really cared fuck-all about him in this school. He coughed out a lot of cement powder {what. that thing that gets off of cement walls} and opened his eyes."Wh... what happened?" he asked straightening up. He didn't get his answer, he was just shoved into an ambulance.

After been roughly dragged out of the pile of rubble. "Aaliyah?" The people kept repeating. I managed to stand up, and after brushing myself down I began searching for my DS (priorities yo). But the people didn't want me to stay, I shook my head, wanting to find it, but they soon picked me up and carried me to the ambulance.

I was still slightly grumpy about not being able to find my DS so sat, cross armed and legged on top of the bed I had been placed in.

They put him in the bed, they put a mask for breathing or something on him, and Fletcher didn't do anything but complain. How did that girl not get anything medical onto herself? Finally they gave up, but checked him anyway. He had cuts and bruises all over his body, but, everyone agreed, it was a miracle he survived. He couldn't have cared less about their sodding miracles. He wanted to go home. But the doctors didn't want to hear any of it. They tucked him away in a room with the girl from before."Hello. How come you managed to get away from all the fuss?"

I glanced over to him and shrugged lightly, before returning to my grumpy state. First I gestured to all around my with one hand, then crossed two fingers and moved them away from my lips before I produced a fist above my head, moved it towards my head then away again, signing 'they are idiots'.

"It would be easier if you just spoke, because I can't really understand you", Fletcher said leaning onto the cushion behind him.

A sigh escaped my lips and I shook my head, another one who can't understand me. I made and 'x' in front of my throat, hoping he'd understand that. Having left my stuff in the rubble pile I wasn't able to write for him.

"Don't slit your throat, it's rather bad for your health", Fletcher asked blinking confusedly at the light."Holy shit they forgot my glasses."

I sighed, and face-palmed. Idiot. I laid back into my cushions, still grumpy about them not letting me get my DS. (she will never forgive them, even if they did help her)

"Okay, okay, give me the silent treatment. I can't see you either way because they fucking forgot my glasses." Fletcher groaned.

Idiot I repeated to myself in my head, checking my nails as I had nothing else to do.

"That's quite shallow of you. Nails. Like nails are important, you just died!" Fletcher said sniffing lightly, as if that would help his vision. Nope. Blind as a motherfucking blind person. Not quite, but at least like a daltonist. Well, neither that, but you get the deal.

And you will be dead if you aren't quite, I sighed again. Now fiddling with the end of my hair.

"Now hair. Dear God, you girls never stop. I refuse to believe that females are the stronger gender, I really do", Fletcher mused from his bed trying to deal with the fact that he could neither see or hear this girl. He could see her, but just a bit, vaguely. She was all blurry to him.

I spotted the napkin from beside me, tore of the corner and flicked it over at him, making sure that it had hit him.
