Joe has lived in the same city since the day he was born. He went to a completely ordinary school that he prefers to forget. He was bullied since the day he graduated. His parents secured him a job at the local florists until he could earn enough to move to London and follow his dreams. His boss, Michelle, hates him with a passion and makes him do extra work for no more money. Currently, Joe is hoping for any way to get away from Michelle. He tried to kill himself a few months back but wimped out because he almost died.

My name is Victoria Mellor, not Vicky or Ria, it is Victoria. I dislike any nicknames that anyone gives me. My name is Victoria and that is how it will stay. It is the only thing my mum has ever given me, so I would like to keep it untainted by anything.

I am 17 years of age, and my birthday is 7th July, so I am most probably one of the youngest in my classes, not that I care.

I am straight and haven't even considered being any different. Yes, some girls are aesthetically pleasing, but they aren't for me, I much prefer guys.

My eyes are a darkish green, I love my eyes, I really do. My Dad says that my mother had eyes just like mine, and I like that thought. Plus they are just a lovely unique colour.

{ Hair }
My hair, I guess, is of medium length, reaching just below my shoulder blades. It is ginger and neither straight nor curly. It is somewhere inbetween, however it is just too thick for me to straighten everyday, so I usually have it tied back.

Technically I am not old enough for a tattoo, but I have a tiny one on my wrist of a heart beat x. I have no piercings as quite frankly they are disgusting.

Just a couple on my stomach and legs from a fight I had a few years back, the main reason dad moved me to America so I would never have to see that Bastard again.

I am around 5ft6", which if you use metric is 1.7 metres, which I think is just taller than the average height.

I am about 130lbs, I think that is about right for my weight. But as we all do, I get called fat and over-weight, so I spend most of my time ignoring them.

{ Current Residence }
I live with my dad in a small house in the centre of Albuquerque, and we have lived here for 2 years. I like it, but first off, Albuquerque is too much of a mouthful to bother saying and second, it is much too noisy. I spend the majority of my time in my bedroom x locked away.

{ Birth Place }
I was born Lancaster, so that is why I have that accent. Plus it explains why I have an English surname while I live in America.

{ Fears }
I like to say I have no fears, and that is true if my feet remain on the ground. I am scared of heights and flying, the journey here from the UK was atrocious, I had about three panic attacks.

{ Dreams }
To get out of life alive.

{ Parents }
I have my dad, as my mother died when I was four. I have little memories of her, but from pictures I have seen she is absolutely beautiful. Dad says I am the spitting image of her but I have to disagree.

I care not about animals

{ Who is Victoria? }
Victoria, quite frankly, is not a nice person. To the majority of the world she is discourteous. It is very hard to gain her trust, there is no specific reason for this, she just spends a lot of her time by herself and doesn't like socialising. Victoria is quite an athletic person, running on a regular basis around the city, she finds this a way to escape the noises and listen to her music without any worries. She also has managed to learn a large amount of kick-boxing and karate without her dad finding out. He always thinks of her as his little angel, and around him she is. He is the only person she actually enjoys spending time with and won't get annoyed with within seconds, so at school she is often called a 'Daddy's girl', though the sentence is rarely finished before the accuser has either a bloody nose or a broken jaw, depends on Victoria's mood. As you can see, Victoria is a violent person and doesn't mind to use that frame of mind. She has been excluded form many schools in the UK and even more in the US. But, despite this, she is still a high graded student who does all her work like a perfectly well behaved student. Victoria is often believed to be a lovely girl, because of how she looks and what she wears, but these people usually see her bad side as she will instantly block or brush them off. She never speaks to anyone unless necessary and most of the words she uses are swears or something akin.

{ Habits }
I smoke. My dad hates even the thought of cigarettes so I have never told him, or let him find out. However this is very tricky at times, smoke is a very strong and distinguishable smell.

{ Quirks }
I have the habit of being restless, and I am known for walking out of school half way through a class. It is just way too boring. With this restlessness I fiddle with things often, which includes my nails and hair.

Why was I the one who had to buy the flowers for the wedding dad was going to! I wasn't even going. I hated weddings. Hell, I hated flowers. They were just to, how to put it, overrated. They were plants, for God sake. Why do people add meaning to them and give them as gifts when you can easily just go into a garden and pick them yourself? With a sigh I pushed open the door to the shop, looking around the bright colours that surrounded me. 'You're female, pick whichever you think would look best' Dad had said. Pfft, they all look as shit as each-other.

"I better be getting payed extra for this", I grumble to myself. Michelle was making me work extra hours. In my experience school bullies never go away. She's just as bad as Jack Millers from high school. He would put me in a locker daily. I was just about to finish up for the day and close the shop when the familiar yet annoying chiming of the door sang out. I gazed up to see a beautiful girl, dressed in an innocent summer dress and sandals.

I gazed around the flowers, deciding that since wedding is white, the flowers shall be too. I saw some flowers that seemed to fit the bill. I collected a handful of them- apparently they were roses. I only thought that roses came in that very horrid bright red colour. These roses weren't any better. Too plain. I sighed lightly, and walked over to the check-out place, not double glancing at the guy. If he spoke to me that would mean I would have to reply, costing me valuable time which I could be spending either going for a run or doing something in my room. I placed the flowers on the counter and pulled out my purse, "How much will that be?" I asked, opening it. I could hear my accent, even if I tried to hide it. But I found that almost impossible, and since I was tired, it made it even worse.

Oh God, he is talking. "A wedding" I glanced up to pick up the flowers, which resulted in me looking up at him. Huh. Not bad. The green fringe would have looked odd on anyone else, but oddly enough suited him. It was quirky. Well this is a first in a while, actually thinking someone looked good-looking. Though, no matter how nice he seemed to look, I still wanted to get home as soon as possible.

Wow her voice was amazing. Her face was amazing. Everything about her was amazing. She was staring at me expectantly and I realized I was staring. With my mouth open! Oh shit. I quickly held out my hand and stuttered, "I'm Joe. Or Joey. Whichever you prefer. Short for Johann. Johann Winters." Why can't I say a simple sentence without making a mistake. She looked me in the eye's and I quickly looked away.

I saw her glancing at the flowers and I blurted out "I'm thinking of you", Shit! Shit shit shit shit. Victoria's head whipped up "what?" Oh my God. What the hell did I just do? "Um...um no, sorry. Its what the flowers say", she continued to stare at me oddly. "Their meaning. It's a gesture of remembrance. With the occasional call for reverence, whether stately or somber, a bouquet of white rose is a perfect way to say, 'I’m thinking of you.'" I cough into my bunched fist and look down at my feet.

Oh crap, now she thinks I'm creepy. She looked like she was about to leave. I had to do something. I just didn't want her to go. She turned away and muttered, "Thanks for the flowers." I sighed inwardly and hung my head. My eyes scanned the counter I was standing behind. In the corner near the till was a shoulder bag. And no it wasn't mine. Victoria must have left it. Oh. My. God. Fate has spoken. I have a chance. I ran out the shop looking out for her. She was making her way to the elevator. I ran after her, hoping I wouldn't be too late.

I pushed the button to the lift just as I saw him running towards me. Shit. I willed the lift to close it's doors faster until I saw what he was holding. I sighed and put my arm in between the lift doors, stopping them from closing and making them reopen. Seriously, I was an idiot for forgetting my bag, but admittedly there wasn't much in it of value, just my phone. I needed a new one anyway. I rested my foot in front of the doors to make sure they didn't close and watched the Johann guy continue his walk towards me.

I smiled as I saw her stop the elevator doors from closing. I jogged the last few meters to her and breathlessly said, "You...you forgot your bag." I was never good at running or...sports. Other than a punching-bag I never really participated.
